Sharron Angle Won’t Rule Out POTUS Run, Rest Of Nation Already Has

Sharron Angle was in Iowa the other day, and said she might be open to running for President:

Visiting Iowa for a movie premiere, Nevada Republican Sharron Angle wouldn’t rule out a run for president.

“I’ll just say I have lots of options for the future, and I’m investigating all my options,” Angle said Wednesday when asked whether she was considering a bid for the White House, the Des Moines Register reported.

As much as I might enjoy the sheer comedy value of the woman who talked about Americans exercising their “Second Amendment remedies” running for President, let me be the first to say it — Sharron, nobody wants you to run for President.

Actually, she’s one of the few people I would like to see as the Republican nominee more than Sarah Palin.

    Run Sharron, Run!

  2. Franklin says:

Yes! The Dream Team for 2012 can be Sharron Angle/Alvin Greene.

/or possibly Greene/Angle if you still prefer “bros before hoes”.

  3. Derrick says:

Seriously, is there is no topic stupid or silly enough in politics for the media not to cover. Between this and the “very important” reporting on abject failure, Christine O’Donnell’s opinion on the SOTU, I’m just perplexed on what counts for actual news.

Well, no one has brought up Sarah Palin’s brilliant historical analysis of the Sputnik story, in which she says the Soviets won the space race, but their space program bankrupted them, and that’s why they collapsed decades later.

You have no idea how much I would pay to see the GOP run a “Bachmann/Angle ’12” campaign…

  6. Neil Hudelson says:

I do! I want to see her run! I have a birthday coming up, so if anyone could ensure that Angle will run, it would be the greatest birthday ever.

  7. michael reynolds says:

Please sign me up as well for Angle in 2012. I’ll even write her a check.

But… but… the batsh.t crazy vote is going to get split!

No, no, no, she shouldn’t run. She might be fine for a VP nod, but even there I have my heart set on Christine O’Donnell.

    Bachmann/O’Donnell in 2012.
