The site has been sluggish or unreachable for the past several hours. We appear to be under some sort of hacking attack. We’re working the issue.
UPDATE (1641 29 March): The site is much more responsive but still not at full speed. My server folks are working the issue.

For me it’s been more like the past few days. My computer tells me that the Shockwave program is failing, if that helps any.
Might this have something to do w/ what happened at Balloon Juice recently?
I hope that everything is fine, specially with James, that takes a lot of time keeping this space.
The site seems to be working well now. Hope it stays that way. It’s a shame you had to deal with this nonsense.
