The site has been rather wonky the last couple of days for reasons beyond my technical understanding. Basically, heavy demand on the MySQL database is exceeding RAM availability–and I have a lot of it on my VPS–and causing shutdowns.

Mark Jaquith is working on some things under the hood and hopefully we’ll get it resolved soon.
