Lance Armstrong appears poised to win his record-tying 5th consecutive Tour de France, despite suffering from heat exhaustion days earlier.

Meanwhile, sports columnists continue to patronize Suzy Whaley, who qualified for a PGA Tour event by winning a municipal tournament from the ladies’ tees and, predictably, wasn’t up to the challenge. She got a legitimate invitation based on a flaw in the rules–which have since been changed. But let’s not treat her like she’s a participant in the Special Olympics.

Finally, it may have found the body of missing Baylor University basketball player Patrick Dennehy.

    And let’s face facts: golf is hard. She could kick my butt, I know that for sure, even if she played from the championship tees and I played from the lady’s.
