SULLY AWARDS

Andrew Sullivan has announced the winners of his annual “awards for left-wing, right-wing, Sontagian, pretentious and generally clueless utterances throughout the previous year.” Winners include predictions as to why Baghdad would be impossible to capture, Arnold Schwarzenegger could never become governor of California, and–my personal favorite–Bill Moyers saying “I think this is a deliberate, intentional destruction of the United States of America.” The “this” being the policies of the Bush Administration rather than, say, those of al Qaeda.
