The Greatest Thanksgiving Sitcom Episode Ever

I posted this last year, but there’s no reason not to repeat this classic.

When it comes to sitcom holiday episodes, there’s not much that can beat, Turkey’s Away, perhaps the one episode of WKRP In Cincinnati that even people who were not alive when the show aired are familiar with.

For those of you who haven’t seen it, here’s the Hulu version. Unfortunately, thanks to copyright issues I believe that much of the music originally featured on this episode has been replaced, nonetheless it’s still worth watching:

    I *think* that problem has been solved for the new DVD version where they worked out the rights to about 90% of the music.

    My claim to fame- my dad starred with Loni Anderson in a community theater in St. Paul when she was 19.

    Oh, Jan Smithers. So many of us loved Bailey Quarters instead of Jennifer. When I lived in Dayton, the house that Gordon Jump (Mr. Carlson) grew up in was down the street from my house.
