The Palin-Johnston Reality Show Continues

Via the AP:  Levi Johnston takes back his apology to Palin

Levi Johnston, the father of Sarah Palin’s grandson, says he wishes he hadn’t apologized for telling lies about the former Alaska governor because he’s "never lied about anything."

It’s enough to make one dizzy.

And just adding to the surreal nature of this particular sideshow of American politics:  Exclusive: Bristol Palin Is Coming to Dancing With the Stars.

On the one hand, more power to her if that’s what she wants to do.  On the other, enough already.

All of this has the feel of Bill Carter cubed.

  1. Personally, I blame John McCain for all of this.

The Pawlenty family would not been nearly this dramatic.

  2. Indeed.

    Republican family values in 2010?

It really is time for Levi to go away.  His fifteen minutes were up long ago.

I remarked to the wife just the other day about the low quality of our current crop of celebrities:  the Kardashians, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Levi, etc.  Really is a sorry bunch.

I also blame John McCain for this.  What was he thinking?

Levi is the cross Caribou Barbie will have to bear as long as she continues to be the Zsa Zsa Gabor of Republican politics.

OK.  By far the best quote I have read in weeks.  Give that man a cigar.

  7. Herb says:

I wish I could blame John McCain, but I blame the voters he was trying to please.    If they were more interested in building consensus than stroking their mewling, partisan id…..

Well, we’d all be better off, no?

The only reason this guy gets any air time at all is because his comments reflect negatively on Sarah Palin.  This is a non-story kept alive by the media and the media alone.  The child got 4 minutes of air time on national television to talk about his latest hissy fit — 4 minutes.

Keep telling yourself that those who say the LSM has a blatant bias against conservatives are hallucinating.  Actually, don’t.  Because nobody believes that they are neutral anymore, no matter what the protestations or “proof.”   But hey, this type of hack journalism is why Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, et. al are becoming ever more listened to, every day.
The left is creating their own demise and they appear to be powerless to stop it.  Like a drunk going back to the bottle, the urge to indulge in mud-slinging is simply irresistible to them.

Juneau, dude, that must have been a bitch to write, what with your hair on fire and all.

As per usual, sam, your reply is … obscure, carefully droll, and devoid of perspective.  Other than that, I give it a 7 – its got a good beat and you can dance to it.

Do  you really think “LSM” is even a little, tiny bit clever? Sad…

I guess Palin has in fact, accomplished something. She is giving white trash a bad name…
