THIS JUST IN: SADDAM CAPTURED

Matthew Yglesias, posting at 532 PM from DC, writes:

Well, having spent all day in my isolated, internetless bunker sleeping off a hangover, shoveling snow, watching DVDs, etc. I just now learned of the capture of Saddam Hussein. The photos of celebrating Iraqis certainly are heartening, and it’s hard to see how this is anything but a good thing.

Now I’ve heard of sleeping in, but this is ridiculous! He agrees with Kevin Drum and Atrios on various things.

Ironically, he has also replaced the traditional photo on his page–where he looks like the sort of fellow who might be in bed with a hangover all day Saturday–with a new one where he looks much more reputable. And about 14 years old.
