Tragedy a “reprieve” for W.H.

Officials informed the Washington Post that the Florida school shooting brought a “reprieve” from the onslaught of scandals facing the White House.

In contrast, President Obama described the slaughter of children at Sandy Hook Elementary School as the worst day of his presidency.

This does not make President Obama a hero.  It does, however, reveal that perhaps he, at least, is not morally disordered.

There are citizens who claim that the Sandy Hook killings were some sort of hoax.
That Obama set up the whole thing and as one sik fuk “truther” told me “…those kids are alive.”
    Total horseshit.

Now that one of Pud’s crew has stated that these senseless murders are “a distraction or a reprieve,” what’s to keep me from thinking that our craven REPUBLICAN President Donald Trump concocted this event to distract the populace from his ordeal?

As much as I know that you are not a fan of the current administration, the easy answer is that you are just not wackadoo crazy as a truther. Those folks are core to the GOP’s loyal 28%

Those idiots are still out there, still saying that a Kenyan should never had been president. They parrot whatever they wish, with no thought to obvious contradictory facts.

It’s become blatantly obvious to all those people down in FL Trump doesn’t give a sh^t those kids died. He really, really doesn’t. One of the major reasons this shooting feels different is the kids themselves have woken up to realize POTUS would rather bitch about the FBI then do something to prevent this from happening again. …. and Republicans should be afraid. These are their future voters getting a first-hand taste of how little they matter to the GOP and youth movements tend to have big impacts on how politics are shaped. If enough teens and college students start pushing for gun control, you’ll see more of a reaction then the Dems ever got.

Trump literally can’t care, he’s a psychopath. What’s the excuse for the rest of the GOP? Trump is sick in the head, the GOP generally are morally depraved.

@michael reynolds: In one respect its like the Russia investigation. It truly is possible that Trump personally had no particular knowledge of Russia’s involvement in the election. But the GOP doesn’t even want it investigated. Trump might be a traitor, but IMO McConnell, Ryan and most of the rest of the Republican Congress definitely are traitors. They know what might have happened and they don’t even care. That’s what a few decades of party over country will do.

If Obama had the alleged actors that were complicit in the imaginary Sandy Hook ruse locked up in the White House basement as some have claimed, why aren’t the “truther” morons all over Trump to release them and once and for all settle this matter?
Pud is just dumb enough that he might send Jr. to go looking for them.
