WEIRD CHICKS

I stumbled on this when checking my referrals:

The Dixie Chicks have made a pact with each other to have small chicken feet tattooed onto their own feet to commemorate certain career milestones. Those milestones consist of: #1 singles, #1 albums, RIAA Gold certifications and RIAA Platinum certifications. To date they have nine tattoos . . . [and] . . .are due to get five more tattoos. . . .

That strikes me as rather strange.

(Hat tip: Why oh Why?)

Why do you consider that weird? I tatoo chicken feet on myself everytime I get a platinum album too. Doesn’t everybody?

Think of it as helping to pump prime the economy by boosting the fortunes of the chicken feet tatoo industry.
