Much has been made (and mostly in tongue-in-cheek fashion) about the fact that Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac could hit the Tampa area, which is where the RNC convention will be held next week. However, a lesser known fact is that the American Political Science Association is having its annual meeting in New Orleans next week as well.
So, will this settle, once and for all, if the GOP is right about political science? No doubt, Representative Jeff Flake should pay close attention…

Here in West Central FL, I’m looking forward to it. The rain this year has already reached its annual average and has helped the water table nicely. But we’re six years’ rainfall below where we should be. We need a few small hurricanes.
Based on God’s track record of countenancing destruction, even annihilation, of innocent citizens, I’d say everyone should get out of the way of the hurricane.
