Wisner: Mubarak Must Stay (?)

The BBC has a breaking news story stating that the US envoy to Egypt, Frank Wisner, is saying that Mubarak needs to stay in place to guide the transition into Septemeber: Egypt unrest: Hosni Mubarak must stay – US envoy.

If accurate, the report would seem to contradict reports that the Obama administration wants Mubarak out immediately.
