100,000!

OTB has its 100,000th visitor during the past hour. The referrer logs show an “unknown,” indicating that it was someone who came via a bookmark. Reader Wylie in Norman e-mails that the counter was showing exactly 100k when he visited at 8:52, so he gets the credit!

    Don’t you just love it?

(Seriously. I remember getting giddy on Day Four when I noticed the old Web Counter up to 10.)

  2. James Joyner says:

Heh. Yeah, it took a while to do much:

1,000 – March 4th (a month to the day from installing counter)

    2,000 – March 13th

    3,000 – March 19th (Instalanche)

    5,000 – March 21st (same Instalanche!)

    10,000 – March 22nd (another Instalanche!)

20,000 – March 25th (third Instalanche, Command Post traffic)

    25,000 – March 30th (more Command Post/war surge)

    50,000 – May 19th

    75,000 – July 14th

    100,000 – August 14th
