Honest Mobile Home Commercial
If, by some odd twist of fate I were in the market for a mobile home, I’d buy it from this guy:
Errol Morris calls it “The best commercial ever made” and Jason Kottke says, “It’s certainly the most honest advertising I’ve ever seen.”
Key selling point:
A bouncer in Birmingham hit me in the face with a crescent wrench five times and my wife’s boyfriend broke my jaw with a fence post. So if you don’t buy a trailer from me, it ain’t gonna hurt my feelings. So come on down to Cullman Liquidation and get yourself a home. Or don’t. I don’t care.
Haven’t we all been there?
Oh man dude you’re WAAAAY behind the times this is OLD OLD OLD.. Everything is about Butt drugs…

In all seriousness the guys behind this commercial are also behind several other hilarious “local commercials”.
Greetings:
I used to work with a sales manager who was too fond of saying, “That’s an employee I want working for my competition.”
Note how he cuts branches by holding a chain saw overhead with one hand while not using any eye protection. “Safety” is a concept they don’t quite grasp.
What’r you talkin’ about? I been there my whole life.
Butt Drugs… I shop there.
Pete, what part of “safety is in the eye of the beholder” don’t you get?
I love the guys who make these commercials. Their Red House commercial is a classic.
“I like deer hunting, bass fishing, and extending credit to all people.”
