A Litany of Trump’s Racism

For those who are skeptical, still about his racism (although how you can be at this point, I do not know), I would point you to William Saletan’s piece in Slate:  No, Not Everything Is Racist, But Donald Trump is.  Even if one wants to argue with Saletan’s analysis, or even his conclusions, the piece has links aplenty to examples.  Those examples make the case and can be examined as one sees fit.

This should matter, even if one likes the Gorsuch nominee and/or the tax plan. I would note that both of those things could have been had with a different Republican president, so there is no particular reason to have to put up with Trump’s racism–unless one agrees or is apathetic to it.  I note this because the issue is much larger than Trump–it is about what the broader Republican Party is and wants to be.  Therefore, the way GOP leadership, rank-and-file members, and voters react to these things matters.

NYT has a story this morning, Romney Says He’s Running, but as a Trump Friend or Foe? I didn’t bother to read it. “the broader Republican Party is and wants to be” in power.
