    This tops anything you’ve posted so far. Astonishing use of pattern and color.

    I have extremely high regard for Taylor.

    Doing photography well takes eye, talent, framing, timing, patience, perseverance. Gear, too.

    Plus mid century child rearing taught us art is unmanly. Men have real jobs.

    Getting the right shot right is brave because the way you have to expose yourself.

    After awhile it’s no biggie, but that first attempt, or first 20 times, takes moxie.

  7. Thanks, all. I have gotten a lot great feedback on this shot on Facebook and Flickr (and now here). It has been interesting (and gratifying), insofar as I like the shot very much, but did not think it special, which I guess show the subjectivity of art and the difficulty one has in assessing one’s own work.

    @de stijl: This was one of the first shots I took on our literal walk in the park that evening. I was prepared for opportunities as I aware the sun was going down and was ready when I found the shot.

    @de stijl: Thanks, man!
