Conservative Guilt by Association

Conservapedia’s dubious entry on evolution. Does this mean we can just Godwin that entire moronic site and be done with it?

  1. Like stupid things found on Wikipedia one can always go in and edit it.

I’m quite surprised it gets so much traffic. I don’t bother with it.

  2. G.A.Phillips says:

Thanks for the great link Steve.

  3. Steve Verdon says:

    G.A.,

I sure hope you are referring to that site being great as in great for laughs at the sheer level of ignorance or something.

  4. G.A.Phillips says:

Ya just yanking your tadpole buddy, Like I believe That silly creation nonsense or something.

  5. G.A.Phillips says:

Creation scientists tend to win the Creation-Evolution debates and many have been held since the 1970’s particularly in the United States. Robert Sloan, Director of Paleontology at the University of Minnesota, reluctantly admitted to a Wall Street Journal reporter that the “creationists tend to win” the public debates which focused on the creation vs. evolution controversy.[197][198] In August of 1979, Dr. Henry Morris reported in an Institute for Creation Research letter the following: “By now, practically every leading evolutionary scientist in this country has declined one or more invitations to a scientific debate on creation/evolution.”[198] Morris also said regarding the creation scientist Duane Gish (who had over 300 formal debates): “At least in our judgment and that of most in the audiences, he always wins.”[198] Generally speaking, leading evolutionists generally no longer debate creation scientists.[199] In an article entitled Are Kansas Evolutionists Afraid of a Fair Debate? the Discovery Institute states the following:

“ Defenders of Darwin’s theory of evolution typically proclaim that evidence for their theory is simply overwhelming. If they really believe that, you would think they would jump at a chance to publicly explain some of that overwhelming evidence to the public. Apparently not.[200]

lol, i guess this is way you wanna burn this site.

Evolution may lose public debates, but when it comes to verifiable testing it’s beaten Creationism every time.

Science is decided in the laboratory, not the forum.

I checked the page history, and it has been mostly managed by user “Conservative” who appears to be the administrator of Conservapedia. The Hitler images has been at the top of the page since Sept. 12, and he seems to take great pride is degrading Evolution and Atheism. I doubt editing the page will accomplish much.

I’m glad your Faith IS SO STRONG,but dang man why wold you say this when it is obviously not true, the unverifiable testing is why you guys always get crushed in debates and why you fear to have them.

Science is decided in the laboratory, not the forum.

lol, then it must really suck for you when people do both, but good try.

  9. Michael says:

why wold you say this when it is obviously not true, the unverifiable testing is why you guys always get crushed in debates and why you fear to have them.

Winning a public debate has nothing to do with actually being right.

i agree, except when your right and you win then kinda counts don’t it?.

  11. Michael says:

i agree, except when your right and you win then kinda counts don’t it?.

Under that scenario, the only thing that counts is that you’re right, winning debates is meaningless.

And just for the record, you’re not right.

  12. G.A.Phillips says:

And just for the record, you’re not right.

lol, the only thing around here that evolves is your reason and logic and your silly theory, what it’s new form in the chain, I remember))))) something about every once and awhile evolution just leaps forward, lol

But ill quit making fun of your religion, I don’t really want to upset you into making anymore admissions about the tenets of liberalism, Like how liberals are right so we should have no more debates because they are now meaningless in the face of your absolute truth.

  13. Michael says:

I don’t really want to upset you

Don’t worry, G.A., that’s well beyond your abilities.

  14. G.A.Phillips says:

Don’t worry, G.A., that’s well beyond your abilities.

But I pray that it’s not beyond your abilities to be, I still got hope for you brother.

In the end we will meet our fate together and I hope to see you come with me, I really do.
