BASRA UPRISING: It appears as if the predicted revolt within Iraq is finally emerging. The BBC reports that UK troops are firing artillery in support of a Shi’a uprising in Basra. (Hat tips: Stephen Green mentioned this a bit ago but didn’t have the link. PoliticaObscura had it on Command Post.)
