In case you didn’t catch it in yesterday’s Traffic Jam, Julian Sanchez has announced the Return of Blogorama. According to the official announcement,
Let’s do it up this coming Thursday, April 7, at the traditional home of Blogorama, Rendezvous Lounge at 18th Street and Kalorama. Bloggers and blog-readers, come, imbibe, chat, and get generally jiggy. Let’s say kickoff at 7.
Radley Balko is otherwise engaged, but the likes of Matt Yglesias, Jim Henley, and yours truly can usually be counted on to attend.

Julian Sanchez has announced another edition of Blogorama:
Well, the task of calling periodic Blogoramas seems to have devolved upon me, and my network of spies indicates that folk are about ready for another one. So let’s say onetwo weeks from today—Thursday, July 22 29—at that bastion of dive-swank, Rendezvous Lounge on 18th Street and Kalorama. Let’s say 7:30. In the interests of pulling in a diverse crowd, reposts of the announcement are much appreciated.
These are a good time and more-or-less conveniently located. It’s nearish a Metro stop (Farrugut West)* and parking, while not exactly plentiful, is doable by that time of evening.
If you’re reading this, you’re invited.
Update: See comment 1.
Update (7/16): The event has been moved to Tuesday the 29th for unspecified reasons.
I’m really alarmed by this slippage from blog-A-ramas to blog-O-ramas. That is not our way.
Perhaps it has to do with the venue being on Kalorama. There’s a certain symmetry to it with the repetitive middle O.
Don’t forget the even bigger event, Jawapalooza in DC. Coming this May. If Joyner doesn’t show I’ll have to write Google News about all his ‘hate speech.’ I’m seriously.
Rusty, do you know your nickname is an adverb?
