DEAD ACES III

CNN is making it official:

Ousted Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein’s sons, Qusay and Uday, were killed Tuesday in a gunbattle with U.S. troops in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, the commander of U.S. ground forces in Iraq said.

Ba’ath Party officials are considering asking for a recount, noting that several elderly people thought they were actually shooting at Pat Buchanan.

Update (1624): ESPN is confirming it, too. It gives them an opportunity to draw attention to Uday’s connection with the Iraqi Olympic team.
