The moon will begin to enter the Earth’s partial shadow, called the penumbra, around 9:05 p.m. EDT.

Well, it’s raining cats and dogs here, so we had a total eclipse around 4. But, if there is a penumbra involved, I might keep a lookout for the right to privacy.
