I’m glad the article highlights that Hippos are really, really dangerous. They can snap a man in half, and they have a quick temper.
Related, there is a great short book on Kindle about the true story of two entrepreneurs’ dream of creating Hippo ranches in Louisiana. The one thing the book–and the entrepreneurs–never adequately addressed was the chance of hippos run amok, terrorizing bayou villages.
