FOLLOWING THE COVERAGE: One of the irritating things about following this coverage online is that new timestamps continue to appear on old stories. Or old stories have a new headline and a couple of tidbits added to them and they’re passed off as old stories. This is true across the board–NYT, WaPo, Reuters, etc. The headline will indicate it’s a breaking news piece from 10 minutes ago, but most of the story will be comments from Rumsfeld’s press conference of this morning. That’s not very useful.
