Fox News Hires Zell Miller

Fox News Channel, Giving ‘Em More Zell (WaPo)

Sen. Zell Miller, the fire-and-brimstone-preaching Dixiecrat who tried to challenge MSNBC’s Chris Matthews to a duel after delivering the keynote speech at the Republican National Convention, has been welcomed with open arms by Fox News Channel. The cable network announced yesterday it has signed the departing Georgia Democrat as a contributor, beginning in January.

Interesting. Miller is an entertaining figure and one that will obviously be appealing to Fox’s viewers.

That’s what the lefties on the faculty at Zell’s alma mater get for scuttling his teaching appointment there.

    Fantastic leftie strategic blunder there.

  2. DC Loser says:

Wow, this is a real shocker, NOT!

  3. Fox could give Zell a show up against Matthews, thus fulfilling the duel threat.

I can see it now: Spitball, With Zell Miller

Steven Taylor, you bested me! After another blogger suggested a Newt-Zell co-hosted program, I suggested the name “Ballbusters” also because of Matthews fued.

But, “Spitball” is just tooooooooo purrrfect!
Takes everyone right back to Zell’s comments at the convention.
