From the “Unimpressive Declarations” File (Gaddafi Edition)

Via the BBC:  Libya crisis: Colonel Gaddafi says he will fight on.

Call me crazy, but when the story start with the description “Libya’s fugitive ex-leader” and the defiant claims are being made form a hidey hole somewhere, I find them to be more than a little unimpressive.

And just to put the cherry on the sundae, his defiance is steeped in sexism:

"The Libyan people cannot kneel, cannot surrender, we are not women," he said in the message on the al-Rai channel.

Well, that’s quite the rallying cry!
