Fun with URLs
The Independent allows creative versions of the URLs on their stories.
Blake Hounshell passed along this Independent story titled “Kate Middleton jelly bean expected to fetch £500” with the note, “OMG check out the URL.” It’s decidedly profane and yet classically British–a joke most readers will never notice.
Alas, Ade Bradley spoils it: “Im afraid it’s a hoax. You can put whatever you like in a URL before the number and get same page.”
