Gaddafi Makes Brief, Bizzare Appearance On Libyan State TV

All day, Libyan state television was announcing that Muammar Gaddafi was going to speak to the nation. When it finally happened, it was brief, and odd:

Frankly, there’s no way of telling when that recording was made.

    Wow. When you said odd, you meant ODD.

    “I am here in Libya. Also, I can clumsily wield an umbrella while in a car! That may or may not be en route to the airport!”
