General Dodd

Dodd Harris has big news:

I accepted an offer Friday to take a General Counsel position in Kentucky state government. It’s a terrific fit for me and, insofar as it will be a law & policy job, I expect it to be very rewarding, as well. I’d have said something sooner, but deemed that it wouldn’t be proper to post to the blog about it before informing my co-workers. The company for which I’ve worked the last five years (two summers as an intern during law school and almost three years full-time since I graduated), has been very good to me – definitely one of the best places I’ve ever worked. I wouldn’t be leaving for anything other than an opportunity as ideal as this one.

I start three weeks from today and I have a lot of work to do between now and then to leave in good order. I’d say that that fact might impinge upon my blogging, but the fact is I’ve been in a somewhat reduced blogging mode for several weeks now anyway.

I got this via e-mail earlier but wasn’t sure if it was for public consumption but I guess it’s okay since he blogged it!

Congrats to Dodd!
