Grammar Quiz

I’ve seen this thing in various places the last couple of days, most recently at Jen Speaks, and finally decided to take it. I, too, am a GRAMMAR GOD!

So far, this is the only result I’ve seen, which leads me to believe that

  • The quiz was fairly easy;
  • Only people who are reasonably proficient at grammar would take such a quiz; or
  • Only people who excel at these quizzes post them on their weblogs.

The list is not, of course, mutually exclusive.

    I too, is a grammer God!

  2. Kate says:

    I’m a grammar Goddess, thankyou very much.

    (Not that you can tell from my blog….)

    As a former book editor, I’d hope that James would be nothing but.

    “You are a GRAMMAR GOD!”

    But I’m afraid for a couple of them, I had no idea what the rule was, just what sounded (or looked) correct. I have no idea what a misplaced modifier is, for example – and I really don’t care.

  4. Jeremiah says:

    It’s a modifier that’s been misplaced 😉

    Sorry, couldn’t help myself. I too am a Grammar God, and all because of Public Education. I’m only 23, too! So things can’t be THAT bad.

    Thanks for the linkage.
