Hillary Clinton Versus Edmund Hillary

Hillary Clinton Versus Edmund Hillary Christopher Hitchens wishes to point out, for those needing persuading in this regard, that the achievements of Hillary Clinton pale in comparison with her namesake, the recently departed Sir Edmund Hillary — who incidentally she was not named after, having been born six years before he climbed Everest.

Six years before, I think you meant.

Yes, fixed! Someone else pointed it out via email but I was still misreading it. -jhj

What’s one more lie amongst friends. It seems she’s incapable of telling or knowing truth.

    Please,
Lies, amongst the Clintonista’s are just a way of life, ignored by the MSM, eaten up by their citizen dupes, placed in the public record as history, and used by them as fodder for their justification to enhance their political ambitions.

I was named after a late, great star warrior, who conquered the universe, born forty years into the future.

Hmmm the right is ready to have an aneurysm because Hillary told a little whopper, yet they give Bush a pass on his little fairy tale about how he “destroyed” the Taliban.

Wonder how the families of the folks just murdered by the Taliban in Kabul feel about that one…

“Hmmm the right is ready to have an aneurysm because Hillary told a little whopper”

No aneurysms here..just admiration for that skill set. I mean, i’ve always thought that this little whopper was from a time when she was still in training for the big stage. Example, when Bill C. was speaking at the Rosa Parks funeral and pep rally when he said “I remember, as if it were yesterday, that fateful day 50 years ago. I was a 9-year-old southern white boy who rode a segregated bus every single day of my life. I sat in the front. Black folk sat in the back.

When Rosa showed us that black folks didn’t have to sit in the back anymore, two of my friends and I, who strongly approved of what she had done, decided we didn’t have to sit in the front anymore.

It was just a tiny gesture by three ordinary kids. But that tiny gesture was repeated over and over again millions and millions of times in the hearts and minds of children, their parents, their grandparents, their great grandparents, proving that she did help to set us all free”

Now, THAT is just gold!!!!. She can’t hold a candle to William…but she’s still in training.

  6. My fifth grade daughter knows it is wrong to try and justify bad behavior as excusable because someone else is doing it. Sadly, not everyone has yet absorbed that moral lesson.

  7. anjin-san says:

So if the President of the United States lies to the American people about the success/failure of a military campaign it is “bad behavior”?

Welcome to the alternate universe of the “Bushies”.

(of course there is always the possibility that Bush was not lying and is simply an ignorant, uninformed boob…

Hillary Clinton told New Zealand television that she had been named after Sir Edmund Hillary. Sir Edmund, however, was an unknown beekeeper the year of Mrs. Clinton’s birth. This lie is, you’re right, a little white lie and gosh we know Hillary Clinton doesn’t do anything small if she can help it. For instance, Whitewater, Rose law firm files, missing FBI files found in her private White House residence with her fingerprints on them, the looting of Vince Foster’s office after his murder, the Madison Guarantee S&L scandal, this list goes on and on… but at the end of the day the fact remains that when they left the White house they stole everything that was not nailed down…

I ask you, how can you trust anyone who has stolen from you to ever be telling the truth?
