Hosting Matters Plan Upgrades

Hosting Matters has done it again. For the second time in the fifteen months I’ve been with them, they’ve dramatically improved their hosting plans without raising prices–or even bothering to send out a notice that they’d done so.

My current plan, for $11 a month (actually, $9.35 since I signed up for the annual plan), now features the following:

  • 325 MB disk space
  • 19000 MB transfer per month
  • 40 e-mail addresses
  • 10 addon domains
  • 4 MySQL databases

It started at something like 100 MB of disk space and 11000 MB transfer.

I’m sure there are cheaper plans out there, but Hosting Matters hosts many of the top blogs in the business (InstaPundit, CalPundit, VodkaPundit, off the top of my head) and their tech support staff understands what they’re doing in terms of handling blogging issues.

I wondered why you suddenly had disk space again when I hadn’t deleted anything!

Gee… 40 emails addresses. Are you offering them to your 39 most frequent readers?

  3. James Joyner says:

Maybe I should start awarding them as prizes, or something! I use a couple of them for administrative purposes, plus the main one.
