How About We Actually Listen To The People Behind Park 51? (Part Trois)

From today’s NYTFor Imam in Muslim Center Furor, a Hard Balancing Act.

Worth a read.

(Of course, no doubt someone will point out how it is all an elaborate plot to lie to us all.)

Wonder why they want an opening date of September 11, 2011. Ten years later. Wonder where the money to build this “cultural center” the likes of which is so desperately needed in that part of Manhatten is coming from? Wonder how you are going to spin the information that is on those tapes in the posession of people who are not taking this mans word he is a moderate. I guess you think we should open our check books to these people because you trust them. Steve, you are on the wrong side of this issue as you are on most issues. What you do not see coming is that the American people are tired of what you and your lefty cohorts have been up to for years. You have lied to our kids about our history. You have lied about our economic system, you have lied about God, you have lied and lied. There are some changes coming. Mark my words. Peaceful or not, you will respect the desires of the American people one way or another. Your side is on the losing side. I trust you will find a way to survive.

Steven, you are an evil, evil lefty because while you believe in limited government and vote Republican, you are completely unwilling to believe conspiracy theories or besmirch the world’s largest religious faith.

Listening to, or reading, a translation of Iman’s Feisal’s words to Muslims in other countries may be more apropriate. Reviewing Suffi Imam Feisal’s relations with, or writings about, radicals might be more appropriate.
