Jeff Jarvis Has Cancer: Robots Attack

Longtime blogosphere stalwart Jeff Jarvis has announced that he has prostate cancer.
Thankfully, they caught it early and he’s got access to the most advanced treatment options.

I’m opting for robotic surgery — geek that I am, how could I not? My only fear is that they’ll wheel me into the O.R. and I’ll see that the machine is powered by Dell.

I’ve also chosen Sloan Kettering and Dr. Raul Parra to do the surgery. There’s one of the privileges of living in New York, among the best.

This is one time I’ll be pulling for the robots.

PS:  If you’re over 50, get your ass to the doctor.

My father had said prostate cancer. Had not an auto accident taken him out pc would have.

All considerations to Mr. Jarvis, as to any cancer patient……to any seriously ill person.

Aside: I don’t note that he is packing his bags for Canada or England.

I don’t note that he is packing his bags for Canada or England.

Considering the superb level of health insurance/care that he probably has, he won’t need to travel anywhere else for his treatment…
