Looking Ahead to the Senate Race ’08

CQ Politics has started a Senate Balance of Power Scorecard with all of the races ranked as Safe, Favored, Leans and No Clear Favorite for both parties.

The only open seat is the Allard seat in Colorado. My initial sense is that the more vulnerable incumbents will be Republicans: Collins (ME), Coleman (MN), Sununu (NH), and Dole (NC).

They have posted the specific analysis for the Democrats with the Republicans to follow.
