MAY THE FORCE BE AGAINST YOU
WaPo reports that Hillary Clinton is developing into “a Force” in the Senate. While I can’t stand the woman, it’s not surprising. She had a very high profile going in to the job, has a natural fundraising base, and is politically skillful within her constituency. The article again raises the spectre of her running for the White House in 2008, which I dismiss. While I’m certain she wants the job, I believe she’s smart enough to know that she is reviled by over half the population. She’s much better off as “a force” in the Senate than as a badly defeated presidential wannabe.
