Michele Bachmann Was Inspiration For Romance Novel

This is not from The Onion:

A romance novel inspired by Michele Bachmann? Believe it or not, it’s a feminist tome, says the author.

“Fires of Siberia” is a new e-book by Tréy Sager set for release on June 1 that is inspired by the Minnesota congresswoman, in which Bachmann, er, the main character — “Presidential candidate Danielle Powers” — “must confront her deepest self and choose between civilization and a wild, primitive ecstasy” (“the main character bears some resemblance to Bachmann in some physical aspects,” Sager told POLITICO).

Just in time for beach reading season, people!

Hope someone sends Bachmann a copy…..

Retroactively, she was the inspiration for Patsy Cline’s “Crazy”

  3. Caj says:

Are you kidding me? Mind you the title sounds about right for her! The wild part suits her down to the ground. See even crazier than the wild man from Borneo!! God only knows how she even got elected. Michelle Bachman is a nutty as a fruitcake, more nuts than fruit I may add! Now I guess Sarah Palin will be so mad. How come Michelle gets the limelight? I’m just as stupid as she is!

Michele Bachmann Was Inspiration For Romance Novel E-book

That would be a more correct title for this blog spot.

Tréy Sager has one e-book on Amazon.

I could write an e-book today about forbidden love in politics with characters inspired by Lindsay Graham and John Boehner and have that on Amazon in no time.

    “Orange Lust”

    Thankfully I won’t.

How is Mr. Bachmann dealt with in the story? Yes it’s a stupid question but I’m curious about it anyway.

That’s cruel and yet it’s worth more than the one thumb I have to up.

  12. Franklin says:

@Dave Schuler: I find O’Donnell far more attractive anyway.
