Paul Krugman Gets a Blog
Somewhat ironically, on the same day that the New York Times announced the end of its two-year TimesSelect experiment of charging for his column, Paul Krugman has started a blog so that people can get more of his insights for free.
Seems to me that the two might be related. I wouldn’t be surprised if the NYT put a kibbosh on any ideas of Krugman’s to have a blog as long as they were wanting people to pay for his writing. Or maybe Krugman was worried that the content of one or the other may be blurred and didn’t want to have any copyright issues.
