    Actually, it’s not made clear at all. Check the comments section on Max’s post to link to the article, which discusses Bush’s military record on paper. When he showed up for duty, he logged days of service. There are no such logged days of service for the year in question.

    It’s the same story he’s had all his life: he was born too rich and too well connected to fail, even when he really screws up.
