Some of my risky predictions pan out. Year Of Protest.
I wonder if historians will call it millennial?
The Year of Revolution was 1848, which isn’t a very promising comparison.
I heard an historian on the BBC making the comparison and noting that if anything the 1848 revolutions that swept Europe moved quicker than the uprisings in the Middle East, even with all of the communication advances.
