    And here we are 26 years later with the president of Russia, a former head of the Soviet KGB, lecturing the president of the US, a former Constitutional law instructor,

    that “civilized” countries can respect their citizens’ privacy while preventing terrorist attacks.

    Putin told the Kremlin-funded Russia Today television station that security and privacy goals can be accomplished as long as the government is following the law.
