Romney: Jobs Going to Countries Like India and Asia Mitt Romney, likely a bit tired and emotionally drained, is delivering a gracious concession speech to his supporters in Florida.

This gaffe, however, was amusing: He said that America is facing competition for jobs “from countries like Asia and India.” Not only isn’t “Asia” a country, but India is on the Asian continent.

    This is exactly the kind of nitpicking I expect from blogs like the NBC Nightly News and James Joyner.

  2. Shepard Smith, describing the different groups in Florida, said college students from Panama City to Plantation Key. The furthest extremes in Florida are actually, Pensacola and Key West. Both are home to colleges, The U of West Florida and Florida Keys Comm. College.

    Maybe James and I can give Mitt and Shepard remedial geography classes.

    I would like our president to at the very least, know rudimentary geography especially since he/she will be traveling to these locations. This just shows how ignorant the American people really are.
