Rudy Giuliani Leads Among All Republican Groups

Republican Party Logo Gallup has aggregated three polls taken in March and April to get some insights into the support of the Republican presidential candidates among Republicans and Republican leaners. Frank Newport analyzes based on differences in ideology (conservative vs. moderate/liberal), region, age bracket, education level, gender, and church attendance.

Interestingly, Rudy Giuliani leads and John McCain is in second place in every single breakdown. Indeed, the also-rans are John Fred Thompson, Newt Gingrich, and Mitt Romney–in that order–among virtually every grouping as well.

Indeed, the also-rans are John Thompson
