SADDAM STABILITY

Christopher Dickey has an interesting piece in Newsweek entitled The Chaos Theory. His basic argument–and it’s worth reading–is that the US coalition will easily topple Saddam, but that there may be some nasty internecine fighting down the line that could be worse than the situation now. The irony of this argument is that it was the primary reason Bush 41 didn’t topple Saddam back in 1991–a decision that has been widely lambasted since.
