SMART BOMBS

SMART BOMBS: Jim Dunnigan asks, Is JDAM Smart Enough for Street Fighting? He both marvels at the sophistication of our current precision bombs, of which JDAM is the cheapest and thus most prolific, and worries that we expect too much from these weapons.

Hat tip to Stephen Green for mentioning this page on Command Post. I used to use Dunnigan’s book How to Make War when I taught International Conflict and have corresponded with him on a book project in my current capacity. For some reason, I seldom check this page; it’s now permanently linked on the right sidebar.
