Speaking of Trump and Russia…

You know, Russia, Russia, Russia.

So, yesterday I had cause to bring up the 2016 Trump campaign and charges of Russian inferences.

Today, I note this headline from WaPo: GOP operative found guilty of funneling Russian money to Donald Trump.

A Republican political strategist was convicted of illegally helping a Russian businessman contribute to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016.

Jesse Benton, 44, was pardoned by Trump in 2020 for a different campaign finance crime, months before he was indicted again on six counts related to facilitating an illegal foreign campaign donation. He was found guilty Thursday on all six counts.

    No doubt Trump will think real hard about another pardon for this joker

  2. CSK says:

    He doesn’t have to. We already know what he would say: It’s all fake news and a witch hunt, besides he never even met the guy and doesn’t know who he is.

    @CSK: Temporarily distracted while he figures out how much he loses if he goes back to Twitter instead of Truth Social? IIRC, he owns about 90% of Truth Social’s stock.

    @Michael Cain:

    Perhaps he could use Twitter to promote TruthSocial.

    Maybe he could get Musk to buy it for the Employees. My guess is that Musk could use some new ones.

    It is endlessly entertaining to watch Musk self-destruct and immolate the decades of propaganda about how Rich Are Better And Smarter Because They’re Rich.
