Doug Mataconis held a B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University and J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. He joined the staff of OTB in May 2010 and contributed a staggering 16,483 posts before his retirement in January 2020. He passed far too young in July 2021.
We used to call the NSA the No Such Agency, because their monitoring of the computer networks on the MIT Campus was the equivalent of someone putting a sheet over his head and thinking because he can’t see out, you can’t see him. Their “suck-down-all-the-packets-and-never-give-anything-back” made them about as obvious as a tarantula on a slice of angel cake.
They should have kept it to 30 seconds. And they should have sprung for better singers.
