A Different Democracy: American Government in a 31-Country Perspective. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas and his BA from the University of California, Irvine. He has been blogging since 2003 (originally at the now defunct Poliblog).

Shrug. It’s a big year for snow pack.
Heh, you don’t wanna know what all I drunk over the years.
I hate to break it to you Portland, but if you’re storing your drinking in an open air resevoir AFTER treating it, there’s always been urine in your drinking water. Along with feces, rotted carcasses, etc.
I think it was a college chemistry class where I first heard the phrase, “The solution is dilution.”

If Anthony Weiner had had the presence of mind to say that, he might still be in Congress. How can you not like this guy?
In a world where a significant number of people believe that dinosaurs and man walked the planet together…over-reaction in a case like this is probably warranted.
