WITHDRAW OR SURRENDER

WITHDRAW OR SURRENDER: Iraq is issuing ultimatums now:

“The Americans and British have no choice but to withdraw – stop their aggression and withdraw immediately. The presence of their forces will expose them to further heavy casualties,” the minister told a press conference, punctuated by the distant boom of coalition bombs hitting targets on the outskirts of Baghdad.

“We will destroy these forces and only those who surrender on the battlefield will be saved.”

Mr Sabri said the mood in the Iraqi leadership was “excellent, as usual” and the 12-day bombardment of Baghdad had not disabled the government. “There is no effect on our ability to function. We shall continue to function as usual even if this aggression continues for years.”

Mighty scary.
