Larry Flynt, John Bolton, and Forced Sex

Just when we thought things could not get uglier in the John Bolton confirmation fight, Larry Flynt weighs in.

Larry Flynt says Bush UN nominee won’t answer questions about forced sex (The Raw Story)

The controversial Hustler Magazine publisher Larry Flynt has waded into the conflict surrounding the nomination of Bush hawk John Bolton to a UN post by revealing Bolton’s divorce records and unanswered questions about his sexual past, RAW STORY has learned.

The following release was issued early this afternoon. RAW STORY will provide more details as they become available.

The records show that Bolton’s wife left him during a trip to Vienna in two weeks in 1982 and never returned. The records further show that she took most of the couple’s furniture. The records do not disclose details about Flynt’s claims. Bolton’s ex-wife was not present at the time of the testimony. RAW STORY has an outstanding call to the State Department but does not anticipate any response.

From Mr. Flynt’s release:

Corroborated allegations that Mr. Bolton̢۪s first wife, Christina Bolton, was forced to engage in group sex have not been refuted by the State Department despite inquires posed by Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt concerning the allegations. Mr. Flynt has obtained information from numerous sources that Mr. Bolton participated in paid visits to Plato̢۪s Retreat, the popular swingers club that operated in New York City in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

“The first Mrs. Bolton’s conduct raises the presumption that she fled out of fear for her safety or, at a minimum, it demonstrates that Mr. Bolton’s established inability to communicate or work respectfully with others extended to his intimate family relations,†said Mr. Flynt. “The court records alone provide sufficient basis for further investigation of nominee Bolton by the Senate.†These court records are enclosed here as an attachment. Mr. Flynt continued, “The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations must be free of any potential source of disrepute or blackmail.â€

All indications now point to Bolton’s confirmation, despite several prominent Senate Republicans expressing concern over various allegations made against him. (See, for example, “Bolton’s Chances for Approval Brighten” from AP.) Larry Flynt’s charges may ensure that. No one wants to be on the same side as Flynt on an issue.

I don’t know which lefties handed Mr. Flynt the shovel, but they should have suggested he fill in that hole he’s been living in all these years before he tried digging one for someone else.

  2. McGehee says:

In other news, corroborated allegations that Mr. Flynt has forced innocent pigeons to engage in group sex, have not been refuted by the Hustler magazine publisher.

Hey, it worked to boot out Jack Ryan.
There is no doubt in my mind that we are in for a long decade of sex stories about Republicans who run for office.
The purpose is to drive out anyone interesting or experienced who has turned away from the excesses of their youth to find a better path.

What’s next? Pointing out that a candidate had sex before marriage and therefore is a hypocrite unable to serve? Bringing up ex-girlfriends who complain about a nasty break-up?

I thought none of this stuff mattered to the enlightened.

Not sure i agree with this: “No one wants to be on the same side as Flynt on an issue.”

IIRC, the Clintonites happily made common cause with Flynt during the impeachment process. And Hollywood gave him big, slobbery kisses as a 1st Amendment stalwart.

    This explains his creepy mustache!

Keep in mind, COURT DOCUMENTS SUPPORT this, and he cannot deny the truth.

    BID –

I thought it was the lefties who wanted the gov’t out of yourbedroom? Oh except when it can be used for political gain?

  8. McGehee says:

What court documents support, if anything, is that somebody claims he did something. Now, if the case were going anywhere I’m betting a refutation would have been offered.

But if the case got thrown out of court by a judge who was laughing so hard at the whole thing that he wet his robes, well…

  9. lloydyboy says:

Flynt has a good record at outing pervs — Livingston, Hyde, et al. God bless Larry.

When hte Democrats start calling on Larry Frynt to give pronouncem, ent on the morality of ANYTHING, much less a Bolton appointment, you know they’re run outta dog poop to toss.

  11. IOKIYAR – it’s ok if you’re a republican.

    Excesses of youth. That’s hilarious.

Ask yourself how you would react if a Democratic nominee had forced his wife to go to sex clubs.

    Hypocrites.

  13. sue says:

All very interesting. Two problems though-the court documents don’t say anything about forced group sex. In fact Bolton’s ex-wife wasn’t even at the divorce hearing. Secondly not a single named person has said that this happened. It’s all crouched in terms of “sources confirmed…”, “sources said…” I or anyone else can make up anything about anyone else..say even a democrat senator…and use this method to smear someone.

Also it’s probable that we’ll see all kinds of allegations like this by the liberals. They not only want to smear anyone that President Bush has nominated or appointed, but then they can also say, “And they say they’re the party of family values?” The third reason is that they think they can ‘peel off’ some of the conservative Christians voters, or as they say-the fundamentalist extremists. Their logic says that ‘fundamentalist extremists’ are dumb and are ‘sheeple’; they will vote for who ever they are “told” to vote for. If republicans are accused of sexual scandals then Christian conservatives will be disgusted and will not vote. They evidently think we’re too dumb to know what they are doing when they smear a conservative politician when there is no definitive proof.

  14. Olinthus Petre says:

Even though Bolton’s a big wanker, he doesn’t deserve to have this nonsense slung against him. He’s got a daughter, who presumably loves him, and a new wife who hasn’t done a runner yet.

Lying to help turn the good old USA into the sort of country that invades, conquers, and occupies far away lands under false pretenses to steal oil should be enough reason to vote against him. That and tens of thousands of dead Iraqi civilians, 1,600 dead US military and all the half-men in the veterans hospitals.

  15. Colonel Pash says:

Just when I was beginning to doubt that Bolton might not be a suitable amabassador to the world, this news comes along. Bolton is the perfect symbol for a ruling party that wants to fuck as many people at the same time as it can.
