SCOTUSBlog Wins Peabody Award
SCOTUSBlog, which has become the go-to site for people interested in coverage of the goings on at the Supreme Court, has won a Peabody Award:
In the world of journalism, Robin Roberts is being honored for “Robin’s Journey,” the Good Morning America feature about her battle with cancer; Bryant Gumbell earned a nod for his HBO show Real Sports; 60 Minutes was named a winner for two separate stories; and ABC News is being honored for its coverage of Hurricane Sandy.
CNN won for its coverage of the civil war in Syria, as did NPR.
Among websites, Supreme Court resource SCOTUSBlog was honored.
Congratulations guys. Keep up the good work.
Talk about missing the lede — Dr. Who won a Peabody! (Although given all the time travel, it really should have won a Peabody and Sherman…)
Nice to see both SCOTUSblog and the television show Southland being recognized.
